Impact of new technologies on learning

Educational systems are constantly changing, especially after the arrival of the internet, where a large amount of information is created and stored. Numerous study techniques have arisen thanks to technological advances, based on them and substantially expanding the options and possibilities for learning. The majority of the population in today's society has access to a large amount of information online, and more resources to share information and communicate with others in a virtual way.

The use of new information and communication technologies is increasing, computer media are present in all our life habits, and their incursion into homes, schools and work centers is growing. However, it is important to take into account how all this information is handled, how to access it, and how to deal with its study

Information in the network, factors to consider

While tics can serve as a source of help for learning, there are several factors to consider when using these new technologies. To learn to channel information and ultimately, to learn, it is necessary to develop skills and a series of skills that facilitate the management of such information. Many more data must be sought, evaluated and classified, coming from very diverse sources.

Another factor that we must bear in mind is that not all the information can be found on the web, and in many cases, what we find may not be the most accurate. Nor should we forget that the fact of using a particular search engine or another will lead to different results. Google is the most used, but that does not mean it is the one that best fits our cognitive style. Our choice in search engines will have consequences when it comes to finding or not finding the information we are looking for.

The credibility that we give to an information will depend on the nature of the content and its quality and it is fundamental to develop a critical attitude before the sources, the ways and the techniques by means of which the information is obtained.

Personal interaction in language learning and coaching

The use of tics has also extended to the teaching of foreign languages, contributing to the development of a communicative methodology and taking advantage of the advantages offered by multimedia resources. The constant development of new technologies can be positive in many aspects. However, for language teaching it has to be understood as a support for quality training.

We must bear in mind that a language is something alive that needs interaction to be learned, developed and maintained. The human part must join the technological, creating spaces for social interaction. An online platform can in no case substitute personal and interpersonal intercommunication, which is a key factor in getting along in a language.

New learning techniques such as coaching have revolutionized the way in which we learn to learn and have proven to be the most effective way to improve both in the workplace and in the workplace. You can not expect a coaching process to generate the same results in face-to-face training as through videoconferences or calls, as many important details for communication, such as tone or body language, are lost.

This looks awesome! I'm definitely going to look into MultiMusica to use in my own teaching, I feel like music teaching just has so much that could be improved about it.

Technology advances daily and adapts to human needs. When it comes to learning, new technologies become tools adapted to transmit the same content incessantly in a repetitive and pleasant way.

Technology plays an important role in learning nowadays.
It is good as long as we know how to use it properly and wisely. :)

Thank you for your support @Steemiteducation, together we can give strength to this beautiful community.

The technology well oriented is an excellent strategy for education, in my particular case, I tell my students that through videos that are published in social networks can allow you to learn everything, for example: a mathematical operation, there are several options that you can teach, as well as also learned how to prepare homemade modeling clay, and a thing through the internet. I try to relate everything with technology, as for children and young people find it a pleasure to work with the computer.
Thanks to God in my school we have some machines that allow us to give you a good educational use.
