My aim for effortless slimming journey

Last December during my school holiday, I started my slimming journey since having a fat tummy isn’t something healthy.

Back then, I remember my weight was 78.6 kg. Based on BMI, I was overweight because I am not a tall guy.

Currently, my weight is 68.8 kg when I weigh myself in the morning.

I have lost 9.8 kg and my target is to have a weight of 65 kg.

I only need to lose 3.8 kg to reach my target.

In this post, I would like to share my personal reasons to slim down without the need for regular exercises.

No regular exercises for me

As a school teacher, it is hard to find time during school days to exercise regularly.

I do take my younger son out for morning exercise on Saturday but it probably cannot help me to slim effectively.

If I lose weight because I have to exercise intensively, I would have to continue to do those intensive exercise to maintain my weight.

The moment I stop exercising, the weight that I lose may easily come back within a short period with the same eating habits.

A good slimming plan for me should be something easy to maintain and does not disrupt my routine too much so slimming through exercising is not a good plan for me.

My Cinnamon Coffee without sugar or creamer

I have about 3 to 4 cups of coffee every day. I am addicted to coffee even before I plan to slim down.

By simply adding Ceylon Cinnamon powder into my black coffee without sugar or milk, it helps to block sugar as well as reduce the size of my tummy.

I had taken a picture of my cup of coffee with plenty of cinnamon powder added below.


My tummy has reduced about 2 inches and all my pants are very loose now.

The fact that I simply added Cinnamon powder to my coffee which I am already drinking every day.

It is a simple modification that does not take too much of an effort and time.

This fits nicely to my slimming plan and I can continue this journey as long as I intend to without much effort.

Conquer the need for rice

As an Asian, rice is a common food item in most meals since young.

I found out that rice is one of the reasons that made me fat so I decided to reduce my rice intake.

All I needed to do is to have more chicken meat and less rice.

By having this diet change and my earlier mentioned cinnamon coffee, I managed to slim down gradually.

Nevertheless, I still have some rice since it is necessary to keep my body healthy.

In Conclusion

Slimming is never a nice experience since it often takes lots of effort.

I feel that we need to find ways to slim down easily without putting in too much effort so that we do not need to maintain those routines.

With my two changes, I am still gradually losing weight.
