I completely agree that education has not evolved at the same pace as the evolutionary process of humanity, entire societies around the world, with few exceptions, have been concerned with perpetuating an educational system that favors what Paulo Freire called banking education. The student is conceived as a mere recipient of knowledge, instead of cultivating and exploiting their talents to the maximum, for the benefit of the social group that surrounds them. The fundamental goal of education is, from Piaget's perspective, to create men who are capable of doing new things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done, men who are creators, inventors and discoverers ...
