Take Child Out of School for A Month to Go on A Vacation, Would You?

Holiday, the magic suggestion word that makes people feel very happy. Suddenly the brain instantly receives free reinforcement from routine and work responsibilities. Vacation is a particular concern of steemiteducation this week.

The busyness of the working world makes the parents feel the need to vacation, sometimes vacation employees are not always the same as school holidays. This case causes many parents to take their children on a vacation together to the destination they have agreed upon. But the question discussed here, will I take my child for a month's vacation?

The father figure who cares for the education of the child will think hard for this, I assume that if this happens to my child then he will be a stranger in his own class. Where he feels very left behind his comrades who spend the quality of their time in class. He will miss a lot of notes, daily evaluations, repetitions and even he will experience mental depression because of absent too much.

I strongly support the school quality program, one of the school quality indicators is the absence of close to 0% of student attendance in the classroom. In short, my child will be absent 25% of active learning days. Not a bit number is not it? I do not want to spoil my own children's school system and I do not want my child to be the object of a conversation over the mistake of my actions for a fun holiday for a moment.

A month...??? We have to have around 300.000 SBD before going on Vacation for A month... LoL....

hahahaha... that is true

thank you

I absolutely agree that it is detrimental to a child’s progress to take a month off school. However, many of the families in my school who visit their home country during the school term must do so because they are accommodating family, seasons, or holidays in their homeland. In this case, I say more power to them! Children’s lives and education can certainly be enriched and strengthened by being immersed in their parents’ language and culture for a good stretch!

There is no reason not to make the vacation educational. Learn about where you are taking the vacation. Is there a different language or culture? What is different or the same about the people that live where you are holidaying? Have the kids make a journal, putting photos, drawings and stories in it. The possibilities are only limited by the imagination. When the child returns to class ask the teacher if he can do a presentation. Believe me he/she won't be a stranger in their class.
