Who Are Your Biggest Fans? Know Your Followers and Supporters

in #steemiteducation7 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone.

As we continue blogging in steemit, we gained followers, supporters and upvoters. It is important for us minnows to gain more insights to our content supporters and reciprocate in kind. This is especially if a whale/dolphin suddenly popped by your post and gave an upvote.

There are various tools that provide good information on your followers and upvoters. Some of them are steemworld.org by @steemchiller, steem.makerwannabe.com by @shaunmza, steemdb.com by @jesta, and many others. For the purpose of checking our followers and supporters, our favourite is http://mysteemitfriends.online by @magicmonk.
Let's go through some of mysteemitfriends features.

The site UI and layout is clean and friendly for all users, regardless of your technical background.
Speed is relatively fast, no waiting for many minutes for a page to load.

Contributors

The best feature in this site, Contributors gives you an overview of who contributes to your earnings payout, from the beginning of steemit time. Knowing who your biggest supporters (in terms of payout) is really important. These are the people who are likely to continue supporting you, you will want to return the support and make sure to follow and upvote them back.

Below is a sample of our account's Contributors. Sad to say, most of our payouts come from upvote bots like @buildawhale, @jerrybanfield, etc. One of our posts got a curied and that upvote(s) alone contributed to the majority of our payouts thus far.
Top of the list (excluding curie and bots) is @swissclive, our SP delegator, @weiching our new found friend and @rt395 who had been very very supportive in our steemit journey.

Upvote Stats

See who had upvoted you and who you had upvoted for. With Upvote Stats, you will know who are your biggest fans.
Or have you been very supportive of someone but did not receive the favour in return? Maybe it is time to ditch supporting someone and move on to some other steemians? Check out your own table and get more insights to your account.

And remember, don't just chase after whales or dolphins!

Very often, I see steemians spending all their time chasing after whales post, spending all their upvotes there and neglecting those around themselves (people having the same amount of SP). 99% of the time, you will get ignored by the whale, or perhaps a small upvote for your comment. Why not be more supportive to your fellow minnows? Spend your upvotes within your small community or interest groups, gain more friends, and grow together!

Another cool feature in Upvote Stats is you can click on Upvotes number and find out the total earnings given by your supporter. A reverse lookup will show the total earnings you gave him/her.

Here we look up one of our favourite steemian who loves Japan as much as we do, @goodboyphilip. Seems like he had been very supportive of our posts and contributed more than we gave him. Time to increase our upvotes to him in return.
This is especially true for supporters who have the same amount of SP as you.

Conversations

Another interesting feature is Conversations where you can look up all the comments/replies from any of your supporter. We seldom use this, probably because we do not have too many replies or comments.

You can use this tool to check out others conversations too. Here we have @sweetsssj with a certain hater. Interesting!
Ok stop stalking others, go back to your own conversations.
For the record, we are big fans of @sweetsssj.

Rankings

With Rankings, you can find out how you ranked in the whole steemit community. We are still minnows and it is pointless to check our own rankings. Instead, you will be more interested to see the top 10 steemians with most Followers, Reputations, Effective SP, Pending Payouts, etc.

Let's take a look at the highest Pending Payouts here.
No surprises in the regulars like @haejin, @adsactly, @acidyo, @slowwalker, etc. But wait, who is @flysky? @dobartim?

So there you have it, the main features of mysteemitfriends, a great tool to add to your collection of steemit tools.

Hope you had enjoyed reading this post and perhaps learned something today.

Great post and a nice service I did not know existed there are a lot of hidden gems in the community thanks for revealing another one and giving it some life.

Wow! Very comprehensive guide to the many stats we can see. I already bookmarked the website. Thanks man. You are my third biggest contributor to my upvotes but you are actually second minus the upvote bot @buildawhale. Upvoted!

Yup its a very useful tool. Not forgetting others too like steemworld and steem-supply.
