Hello friends of @steemiteducation, today I want to present a post dedicated to publicize the benefits of "Gymnastics in the development of children", this is because it is an extracurricular activity that loves most and also offers them multiple benefits. My eldest daughter Sophia is practicing this discipline that has allowed her to increase her activity and develop socially and physically.

When I had to make the decision to choose the extracurricular activity in which I was going to register my daughter, if I was honest, I did not cost any work, because she had been insisting for some time that I wanted to practice gymnastics, I even spent hours giving I went back and forth with her friends, to a point that her friends told her to do something else and she insisted on practicing gymnastics, so I had it easy. However I did my research to know the benefits that it brings and definitely enroll in their classes Gymnastics was the best option.

Keeping children active is essential for their healthy development, so we must encourage physical activity from an early age and be part of their life forever. Organized sports, such as gymnastics, help them develop socially and physically, as well as being an exercise that incorporates strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power and discipline.

The gimnasia brings with it many benefits, among the most outstanding is:

  • Teach children how to live a healthy lifestyle, and continue participating in the sport as they grow up, since the habits that are learned as children are taken to adulthood. Making them healthy people without muscle complications, with a toned body.
  • It helps children sleep better and gives them the necessary skills to better handle physical and emotional challenges in life. My daughter sleeps peacefully since at the end of the day she is tired of the physical activity that gymnastics brings with her, which means that she is growing when she sleeps.
  • It gives them the opportunity to communicate with people of the same age, learn to work in teams and interact with adults. They regularly compete, which further strengthens the bonds of friendship between the members of the team, they meet new people and they interact with many more people than usual.

  • Gym gives children the opportunity to learn about social skills such as listening, following directions, taking turns, respecting others, socializing and being more independent. They have their coaches who are the ones who guide them and teach them under certain parameters the different techniques, which makes them pay more attention and learn to follow instructions.
  • Develops a series of motor skills and coordination and helps develop a good sense of body awareness. Gymnastics develops body awareness, control and coordination, which can be beneficial for other physical activities, for sports and also in daily life. learn to manage your body from an inertible body, in addition to the flexibility that you acquire, I guarantee you that you will perform a lot more in other sports besides gymnastics.
  • Children learn to use different parts of their body in different ways.

  • Gymnasts are renowned for their excellent strength-to-weight ratio, so they help build the foundation of good muscle strength, endurance and power. Gymnasts become stronger through regular training, which helps with the development and toning of lean muscles, improves balance and posture.
  • It helps correct bad postures, develop a sense of rhythm, build self-confidence and encourage concentration.

  • So if you have not yet made the decision of which extracurricular activity to enroll your daughter, this may be a good option, as long as your little one agrees, it is worth noting that this is not a discipline only for girls, boys also They have a place here and they love it too.

Today my daughter has improved in many aspects since she practices this sport is a physically stronger girl, with more resistance, more active, has become more responsible, likes to meet schedules, fulfills its obligations, and learned to follow instructions more easily, in the same way it has favorably changed its way of interacting with others, it is more proactive, more relaxed and more communicative, in short I have no more than to qualify the Gymnastics with an activity that brings immeasurable benefits for our children.

I invite you to take your children to practice it. Here I leave a video of the skills that my daughter has acquired to the moemnto in the short time she has been practicing this disciple:

Greetings and I hope that this information has been of your help and I hope you in my next post !!

I want to give special thanks to the community of @steemiteducation for motivating us and encouraging us to share a quality post where we can all learn every day.

Gymnastics is difficult for child. Very hard work and practice needed. Playing games, sports and swimming also good for children.

That's right and the same applies to other sports too, I learned quite a lot and some similar lessons from competitive swimming as well

Se ve que disfruta mucho sus clases de gimnasia, feliciddes

Excellent decision!
Another advantage of practicing physical activities, particularly gymnastics, is that socially it will be well seen by your classmates since you will achieve activities and movements with your body that other children can not do because they have not had the proper training, this of course, it is worthy of admiration for others.
