Rounding Numbers to Nearest Ten-Thousand Worksheets
This is the final post on rounding number for 3rd grade math. We will discuss rounding numbers to nearest ten-thousands. Again the key is the knowledge of place value to ten thousands to learn this skill.
There are three worksheets kids can use to practice their skills on rounding a given number to nearest ten-thousands. They can use my trick which is to underline the ten-thousands digit in the given number and round it down or up based on thousands digit. I have well explained this concept in the first worksheet given below.
Sorry, pdf for above worksheet is not available, please print the above image.

Nice post about rounding no's to nearest ten thousand @mathworksheets. I was trying to solve the problems, it just came into my mind about the first example in your first worksheet i.e. 58787. Can you please explain how the answer is 59000 instead of 60000?
My bad @gautam. You are right the answer should be 60,000 not 59,000. Thanks for your call. I am going to correct the mistake.
i just sent it to my nephew :D
He is going to be very smart in math!
Thanks for reminding me this, forgotten this rounding off arithemetics😁😁
Yes, we often forget these elementary math concepts until our kids ask us about them or we see them by chance! Thanks for stopping by dear friend @barineka :))
Thanks for your post, the worksheet you created is easy to understand. Thank @mathworksheets
Yes, I try to keep these worksheets as simple as possible. Yes they are pure math content and without any attractions like cartoon character, but kids who work on them get smarter in math!
