Summer has arrived! Let's take advantage of our children's free time
Fun in children's lives is fundamental for their development, and above all for their ability to learn, let's make their simple world a wonderful place and let their laughter illuminate the day.
If you follow each of the following steps, you will be able to make the best week your children can have .. !! Let's do it
PROCESS
STEP 1
Theme selection: The first thing we must keep in mind is that we are going to plan based on 5 days. It is necessary to define a general theme in order to easily create the crafts and games that will be developed throughout the week. In my case I selected ANIMALS but there are infinities of subjects to which you can get much benefit.
Some of them are::
- Recycling
- Terror
- Professions
- Foods
- Colors
- Fantasy
- Pirates
- Princesses
- Means of transport
- Sports
STEP 2
Planning of manual activities: Planning of manual activities: Once the subject is selected, it will be easier to plan the manual activities. Normally this type of planning lasts from 10 to 11 hours per day approximately, that is to say that there is enough time to create and develop children's creativity.
These crafts were planned based on different ages. If it is not your case and you only have a specific age, it will be even easier to develop the activities.
With all these points clear we begin the search for crafts, find all the ideas you can, and depending on the materials you have you can select the most appropriate. You should not forget that a craft will be made per day, but in my case I planned for 4 days since the last day will be only partying and sports activities. My selected crafts were:
- Jellyfish (Monday)
- Visors of Tiger (Tuesday)
- Animal bracelets from the farm (Wednesday)
- Puppets of dogs and cats (Thursday)
Many of the planned crafts must be pre-approved by the people in charge. What do I mean by this? Well, we must have at hand all the materials that we select cut out and even painted, ready only for the child to assemble (if the child is bigger it is not necessary to advance the work so much).
The images that are in the upper part I used them as reference, here I show the materials already cut and painted by me ready for the child to assemble.
STEP 3
Game Planning: Like crafts, games must be planned per day. I am one of those teachers who do not like children to get bored, on the contrary I like that the more games they can do a lot better. These games I can catalog as "fill" since we are always going to find a gap in the schedule where children do absolutely nothing, so I planned these games for "emergency case". It is a very simple game but very funny, the game is called "IN SEARCH OF."
Materials:
- Bond Paper Sheet
- Marker
- Scotch tape
- Crepe paper
Game mode:
The child coloring will be stimulated psychomotor development, this is the one that relates to emotions and knowledge. Another benefit is the development of creativity and also children learn to express themselves and stimulate communication with other children.
I can guarantee that the children will love this game, other ideas for this game are:
- A fish tank IN SEARCH OF fish.
- A dog IN SEARCH OF his bones.
- A Giraffe IN SEARCH OF their spots.
STEP 4
Recreational Rally planning: What is a rally?
In my case I will make two rallies to be executed strategically:
• The first will be done on Monday (this to hook the child and want to return the next day).
• The second will be done on Friday (this is to leave with the feeling that it was the best holiday plan they have attended).
Here are some game ideas to help you plan your rally:
STEP 5
Schedule: Structuring the schedules (per day) will help us to know how we should develop it, such as: At what time we will do crafts, at what time the games are made, the theater, the swimming pool among others.
Example of my schedule on MONDAY:
In addition to structuring a schedule like this, they must make a banner to promote the vacation plan showing the activities that will take place throughout the week. Like this:
STEP 6
Other fun and educational activities: Even doing crafts and Rally there is a lot of free time and that's where the following activities come in:
- Theater
- Micro theater
- elastic bed
- Dance
- Cinema
Note: It does not matter at what time of the day these activities are carried out, it is important to do them and not leave the child bored at any time.
STEP 7
Party: In the preschool where I work and where these activities were developed we cataloged Friday as a holiday so we should also plan the best party of all and it can not be missing:
- Balloons
- Children's music
- Elastic bed
- ace painting
- Games
- Candies
- Rallys
- Awards
Conclusions

thanks @abraham10
me encanto tu articulo, bien interesante y sobre todo educativo
Muchas gracias @janethulloa
the level of learning, and ability to gain from any given exercise, i agree, is depends on the type of game/activity that you take children through. there are games or activities that do not correspond to the children age, and can wreck them, more like an adult movie being shown to kids!
This is a fine outline of a very practical plan for kids fun time.
I am going feature this post in the next Xposed Curator's Rebound #44. You may find details about it Xposed Curator's Rebound
My hope is to bring your quality work here the exposure it deserves, and with it, hopefully some additional rewards.
Best wishes, @mirrors
thank you so much @mirrors
