Often we get someone with a degree who always gets an A grade, but it turns out that as they live their lives, their lives are mediocre, not as high as their academic grades, while their classmates, who academically do not have as good a performance as they have, but live a better life, happier, both financially and mentally. Many of us see people constantly in schools and universities and end up working as ordinary staff in a company led by people who may not be academically as good as they are. Those who are not academically good and rarely get high marks, eventually become businessmen after school. Tiger Woods, Sylvester Stallone, Bill Gates and Michael Jordan are examples of people who have no high academic grades but are ultimately very successful in their business and career. Thus it is clear that the success that we get in academic is not one of the main indicators of one's success in life.
Therefore, a question that often comes to mind is: What leads to victory in life? And how do we ensure our children are really prepared for the future? The answer is a high multiple intelligence. We must make sure our children develop a high level of intelligence in various fields.

Seven Kinds of Intelligence for Success
As has been pointed out by Dr. Howard Gardner in his Frame of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences, that intelligence has seven components, seven multiple intelligences. In addition to linguistic-verbal intelligence and logical-mathematical intelligence, other intelligences also include visual-spatial intelligence, musical-rhythmic intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence.
In order for our children to be truly intelligent, they must score high in most of the seven multiple intelligences. Although we rarely find someone who excels in the seven areas of intelligence, we can see that in order to gain a successful life, we must achieve high scores in the various components of intelligence, at least excelling in four to five of the seven multiple intelligences. Academic results and the Intelligence Quotient test are not the strongest indicators of true intelligence that a child possesses because they only measure a person's linguistic-verbal and logical-mathematical abilities. Therefore, we can have a high Intelligence Quotient and earn good academic grades in all exams, but may not have the intelligence necessary to achieve success in life.

A Student with the value of 'A' may be very strong in his verbal skills (language and human sciences) and logical-mathematical dedication (mathematics and science), but perhaps he does not have interpersonal skills to always be good and get along with others, build networks, communicate, terminate consent, and persuade and encourage others. He may also lack intrapersonal skills to overcome and learn from failure, to reflect and motivate himself. These are all fundamental skills for success in any profession.
On the other hand, we often find that the commonality of successful individuals is that they have a strong blend of at least four to five of the seven intelligences we can have. Irwandi Yusuf rose to become one of the governors who are respected and loved by the people of Aceh because they have interpersonal intelligence that makes him understand the conditions of the people of Aceh, in close contact with them. He also possesses a high degree of intrapersonal intelligence that enables him to reflect and continually improve himself. This intelligence also makes it possible to overcome great failures and frustrations, and to rise again after losing. He also has verbal-linguistic intelligence that allows him to deliver great and emotional speeches. Finally, he has a strong logical-mathematical intelligence that enables him to analyze, interpret, and solve problems. A person who is only trained to academically intelligent will not have all these talents.
Therefore, to ensure the success of our child in the future, we can not rely solely on good value. We must make sure that our child develops as much as possible out of the seven intelligences.
