POPULUS, A BRAVE KINGDOM(ORIGINAL HISTORY)!!!!

in #steemiteducation6 years ago (edited)

Some time ago, there was a kingdom called Populus where everything was joy and happiness, its inhabitants were the happiest in that empire and not only because it was a kingdom full of wealth but also because there was no kind of evil; and so they lived for many years until the least expected day their history changed, in the deepest part of that kingdom was the most horrible monster that could exist, that terrible creature was called Dictatorship.

Dictatorship was a resentful being, he hated anyone who had the slightest hope in his life; He did not like to see happiness or prosperity in those lands and for a long time he dedicated himself to creating the most evil plan that the world could know, with the sole purpose of eradicating happiness and hope. Dictatorship created the most dangerous potion of that kingdom, because, by spreading it among the inhabitants, it eliminated all the existing happiness and joy and brought with it the hatred and the evil to Populus. As time passed, people breathing that maleficent potion hardened their soul and their hearts became black and cold; and the inhabitants of that kingdom knew no other feeling than hatred, ambition and violence, in every corner of that land that was once prosperous emanating poverty, disease and need for the most defenseless; Dictatorship became more powerful every day, because it subjected and hurt everyone who opposed it.

As the years go by, Dictatorship never imagined that behind their back a group of old peasants determined to save their people met secretly in a forest cavern, devising a way to make an antidote that could undo the potion created by the evil monster, but in spite of all their efforts they were discovered and sent to the dungeons of the castle, where they could not see the sunlight and lost track of time; however the old peasants were very wise and intelligent, they left in their hiding place a parchment with all its secrets and the way to overcome the evil creature, but not everyone could know those secrets, only someone pure of heart and with a noble soul could decipher them.

One day a young peasant named Widam, who lived in slavery with his old father in the smithy of the Dictatorship soldiers, went out into the forest in search of some fruit and mushrooms to eat; although they did not stay locked in the castle, they did not receive any payment or benefits other than mistreatment, so it was necessary to obtain food for their sustenance, despite this he became very skilled with the sword and the bow; As he went deeper into the forest, he went to the edge of a small stream to drink a sip of water and rest a little, but when he tried that water the young man fell into a deep sleep, so he stayed for several hours; When he woke up, he found himself surrounded by white doves that fluttered around him, urging him to follow them, the young man did it with a little caution.

After a while the young Widam came to a high mountain in which was a cave surrounded by bushes and vines, on entering he realized that it was more than a simple cave because it was full of potions, scrolls, runes and all kinds of magic items; at the back of the cave there was a large carved rock and in it he said: "Only when the star of the sunset is born, the light will arrive at dawn ... The guide is the way", and at the foot of that rock was a different scroll , a parchment sealed by a kind of light; When the boy took the parchment a bright light invaded the place, because that young man was the chosen one to free his people.

After having discovered the scroll and its secrets, Widam decided not to return to the town for fear of being discovered by the soldiers of Dictatorship, but also felt fear for his father who was in the smithy as a slave. After a few days and after having carefully studied the scroll, Widam finally understood its true purpose and the revelation of the old sages; what motivated him to leave bravely to the people and determined to free Populus once and for all from that beast that caused so much hardship and misery to his people.

Once in Populus, Widam decided to visit each village and each home, bringing a message of unity, strength and hope to each farmer, children, youth and the elderly; for he had discovered that the secret that the sages hid in order to defeat Dictatorship was found within each person of the kingdom; that secret weapon was nothing but goodness, love, hope and union; However Widam was rejected by many inhabitants of the kingdom, their hearts were lost in the darkness and they did not renounce their new way of life full of ambitions, sorrows and fears, but Widam did not lose his faith, he continued insisting in each village to make his People will find a light in their soul and the freedom they so badly needed.

The young Widam, desperate not to convince the people of the kingdom, went to the forest to meditate and in search of an answer; When he returned the next day at dawn, he realized that the young people of Populus were waiting for him; Widam was surprised to realize that the city was waking up and that the bravery of these young dreamers would end with so much evil in the kingdom ... That multitude of brave men began their march towards the castle where the Dictatorship was, ready to give their lives for their people. While marching towards their destination, the rest of the peasants joined the brave warriors, because when they saw the love that these young people felt for their land and its inhabitants, those feelings and values that one day lost due to the evil of a terrible monster; that was the day when "the star was born in the twilight and the light came at dawn", because hope, love and union had returned to the heart of Populus.

Dictatorship seeing that the whole kingdom was approaching the castle, for the first time felt fear and sent all its soldiers to stop this sea of people, however the soldiers were inhabitants of Populus, enslaved and forced to terrorize people; The soldiers of the dictatorship turned against him and joined the young, forcing him to release all the people imprisoned in the dungeons and to leave the castle; Dictator to look alone, he decided to flee from those lands but was trapped and locked forever in the depths of the cave that was once the hiding place of the ancient sages, and therefore could never harm any Populus inhabitant or no other distant land.

The kingdom of Populus was free again and again felt peace and tranquility; Widam was proclaimed King by the villagers and married a beautiful peasant named Giogia. Populus with his new King, little recovered prosperity and abundance in their lands and returned to be a town full of wealth, goodness and harmony, and his people did not feel again the hatred or sadness that one day invaded them .
