As someone who has not had much of a connection with the world of ASD, or has much knowledge on the subject, I can appreciate Autism Awareness month. For instance, a simple post like this has educated me on ASD, making me more understanding towards those who are on the spectrum. Next time I see a mother trying to calm her tantruming child, I might just step in to help, instead of judging from a distance.
