Yes, I too don't like to beg for upvotes. We should focus on quality of the content then upvotes will be automatic.
I would like to add one more point to "Avoid this". It is YouTube has censorship and DTube doesn't, but don't take this as an advantage. Don't select hatred, fake, or violent stuff. And behave like DTube has censorship. Of-course downvotes will kill if anybody takes advantage.
And I use Camtasia 9 for editing videos. I also saw your video about reducing size using with Handbrake. That helps a lot. Thanks.
The quality is still low at 480p max I don't think it will ever take off until at least 720p is accepted and your subscription page can be populated with people your subscribed to

So, do not back down to public opinion and be what you want to be.
