I've just discovered that @steemitmamas is running a contest for parents. This one is on the theme of kids saying the darndest things. It's been a while since my girls were little, so I can't remember most of the funny things they came up with, but there are a couple of things my eldest said that have stuck in my he'd. So I thought I'd take this opportunity to share them.
I can't remember exactly how old she would have been at the time, but I'd guess about 4 or 5.
Pancakes were always popular in our house and one day, when I was making them, she came into the kitchen just as I was tossing the pancake and gave me this compliment:
"Mummy, you are such a good tosser!"
The other incident was when we were in the car and she confidently told my husband and I that she knew what boys' private bits were called: "They are called peanuts!"
She thought it so funny that were called a food!
Don't you just love the innocence of children?

On the way to get icecream a couple of years ago, Evelyn told me to smash bitconnect and hodl, daddy.
They're so naive at that age.

LOL, do you say that out loud???
ahahah, I'm still only 24 so I don't have kids, but I can tell some stories about myself, for example, when I was around 3-4 years old I decided to do a kamehameha wave (like Goku from DragonBall) in the middle of the beach, I screamed my lungs out trying to do it xD My parents were so embarrassed, I was so stupid xD ahhaah
Haha! Love it! You just reminded me of my nephew when he was around that age. He's just a few years older than you, so similar era. I don't know if you ever saw gladiators. He loved it and used to charge upon and down the house yelling "are we ready?!!" Thankfully he kept it to the house!

Chuckle. That is hilarious. :)
They do say the darnedest things.
Oh god I remember the peanuts incident. That's what Max told me. He also said that girls' bits were called virginias
I couldn't remember the girls' bits!

Hhaha! That's great! Our older kid is now of the age where we do have to be careful what we say around her...
Lol! That would probably be the age where hubby and I started calling each other "daddy" and "mummy" after my eldest started yelling "Shaun!" up the stairs, copying me!
