This is quite old picture, but when I saw last SteemitPhotoChallenge topic, I immediately thought of this ;-)
Maybe shutter speed was not too impressive here (I have no EXIF data, but I'm sure it wasn't shorter than 1/200s), but still some action freeze was done.
With flash.
Actually, with quite a lot of small reporter flashes set to low power output to make flash duration even shorter :)
Shot outside, when it was almost dark - to eliminate available light & problems with cleaning the mess after photoshoot :P
Watermelon was on the lightstand, which was easy to photoshop out.
Low flash power allowed shooting in continous mode :)

Is this Poland's strong woman? I mean, do you know how much strength it takes to even LIFT a watermelon! Let alone meet with one in full flight with a bit of wood. It's fun to compare her efforts to the exercise you are giving your clicking finger on the other side.
Well... photography is nothing but lies ;-)
Watermelon was sticked on the top of light stand (which didn't survive this operation :P ).
And as far as I remember it took two or three hits to smash it like this ;-)

woosh
P.S. If you or anyone you know has been a victim of @grumpycat please know that he has been harming people throughout Sōsharumedia (ソーシャルメディア). Stealing the service that I (and other bots) have provided them and hiding behind a facade of stopping bid bot abuse which he clearly has no interest in.
Sneaky Ninja is a very responsible bot, working directly with steemcleaners, actively pursuing spam and abuse on our platform. If you would like to see what steps Sneaky Ninja has taken to fight bid bot abuse see this post and this post. Also know that I am working daily on other solutions.
If you would like to know my personal take on bid bot abuse and why I do not agree with the 3.5 day rule, see this post
