Great detail. I've been looking at a lot of reviews of that Zeiss 55mm and it seems to be amazing. 50cm min focusing distance is great for a non macro lens too.
It is the best lens i had so far, maybe because i did not have better ones. But i am very happy. And as for the focusing distance it is just a bit too far :) My Nikkor 50mm 1.4G was something like 30cm i guess? But with that huge sensor of 42Mpx 50 is also good :)
Ive been looking at the Zeiss series as Im switching to an A7r II shortly. That 55 is getting such high praise from every review.
Because it really is an amazing glass. Pricey but worth every penny. And get AR7 III if you can afford, autofucus is so much better, bigger batery, dual card slot and rocord button in a proper place lol
Nice one. With macro, it is always a challenge for the point of focus right? How did you pick your focus on this one?
I dont know where he took the pic, but if it is indor, and no wind, you can use Focus Peak on Sony Camera.
I just choose flxible spot focus mode and set my focus where i want it to be, also set it on tracking so it does not run away :)
The picture is really fantastic and the color selection is very conciliatory
