It sounds like it would be too busy a place for me. We love it here. The only time it gets crazy is for a week during the Players Championship golf tournament, but I volunteer on the course, so I enjoy the little bit of excitement.
You're correct, it is a very busy place. We're planning on visiting St. Augustine in the next couple of weeks. I see it's close to Ponte Vedra....looks very pretty.
I love St. Augustine. We go there and pretend we are tourists - usually in the spring and fall when it's not quite so busy! There is so much to do there, and the history is amazing!
Key West is very historical and a great place to visit, I wouldn't live there.
