I just love Africa and love climbing mountains so when i can combine the two together even better!!
In 2010 i did a trek to the highest peak in Africa Kilimanjaro it was an awesome experience never to be forgotten.
Just 3 days later I had the trekking bug again so decided to tackle the very beautiful Mt Meru just 40 miles from Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The views from this mountain were amazing, and the ridge was a little bit of a slog but well worth it.
We reached the peak in time to see the sun rises over the not to distant Kilimanjaro, this has to be one of my most spectacular trekking holidays to date.
Me and my two guides, couldnt of done it with out them !!
