The European Garden Spider (Araneus Diadematus) is a big spider but its spiderweb seems filigree.
I shot this pics in 2007 after I ran straight into this spiderweb and got a big shock. I do remember this situation as if it were yesterday.
As you can see, I destroyed a part of the web but the big spider immediately began to repair it.
Pictures taken with my Lumix camera. (in 2007)

thanx @doitvoluntarily - it was disgusting - urghh ;-)
Great shot...the spider looks almost like it has an upside down face on its abdomen...kind of creeeeeepy. And just a quick question..are you shooting it through a window? Can see the reflection of your camera.
thx, yes I shot it through the terrasse door after closing it because I were too frightened of this big scary beast.
lol. I can completely understand that
The quality is amazing, but your model... It might be a good idea to look for something else lol
Thx for liking the high quality - next time I'll have a cute girl- or what?
Nice little spider! :)
