From my experience steem/SBD goes down in the spring/summer just because accounts become inactive. I feel this is just a natural dip.
Bet we will get a good pick up before May. I was grinding it when it was this low for ages and ages. Things can get lean, but man when the rains come.... It feels nice. So hold out with hope.
All good though, collecting my SBD and steem. Just waiting for a greener day and definitely I have not lost faith. :)
