Is it me or has participation skyrocked in @jaybird 's sandwich contest? but wow this week is full of great eats and from all over the globe.
United via a sandwich. Who would have thought?
I get a sense that the upcoming themed week of sandwiches are going to be particularly impressive. I wish everyone a great time when participating.
I just made a quick and light (mini) sandwich. I cannot have anything too substantial as this evening I am doing battered fish. Going to see some friends, eat, chat and maybe be merry.

Big shout out goes to @jaybird for organizing this contest.
I used the following to make this sandwich:
Bread:
- Wheat flour
- Water
- Yeast
- Salt
Filler:
- Pepperoni
- Red bell pepper
- Sriracha
It starts with a homemade mini bread roll. I must say it is really cool to see loads of people stepping it up. This in the sense of baking their own bread for this contest. I find it quite inspiring.
Came out quite good, nice pockets and fluffy.
"S" is for Sriracha and boy did I miss you! I got three bottles last week (through the power of steem) and made a video about it.
Got to load up both sides of the sandwich.
"P" is for pepper and this case a sweet red bell pepper. Added not only flavour, but a crunch too.
"P" is for pepperoni.
Ok a bit more pepper, but she is about ready to go.

I had been without Sriracha for 3 months :( but now I have several bottles of it. :)
That's a intense flavour, if my guess is right. As always love your homemade bun! Guess where sriracha is from?
I love the kick and sweet but hot garlic lick it gives you. Hmmmmm I would say SE Asia region.
