I didn't have any meat today and I figure I would make a wrap with meat. I have some organic and grass fed ground beef handy. So, I made some burger rolls for dinner tonight.
Also, I roasted some peppers this morning and I decided to use the roasted red pepper to make an Aioli dip for the rolls.
For the burger roll, you will need:
- butter, ground beef, onion, green pepper, cheese, wrappers, olive oil
For the aioli dip, you will need
- roasted red bell peppers, garlic, mayonnaise, olive oil
The steps are as follows:
- fry ground beef, add onion, garlic and then peppers; add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, finally season with salt and pepper
- place the mixture on top of home-made Chinese wrappers, roll up and seal with water, bake in oven for 15 minutes
- while the rolls are baking, make the aioli by placing all ingredients in the blender, season with salt and pepper and then serve with the rolls
This makes a great party dish too as it's quite easy and tasty! I had a lot and I swear my baby bump grew at least an inch from today's wraps, LoL.
