The aim of this competition is to extend the idea for Steemit blogging. If we give a donation in food or money, when money and food are spent, we have the same problem - a poor family. If you donate a computer and teach people to make good posts and comments, then they begin to get a regular cash flow. I believe that in the first month, every new user can make $ 500, In the beginning the most money is made on good comments. Steemit with this idea can feed many people, villages, cities and poor countries. I want to launch a human idea because more users bring higher and faster growth to Steem and SBD. I want this competition to grow, to get a global dimension. Now it's only one computer, the next time the prize can be 150-300 SBD - it depends on the support you give me.
Winner ( 10 SBD ) : @easydimes
You are not only a kind, charitable person but also one that sees a need and follows through to see it solved. Those are he honorable qualities. My name is Esther Nantambi and I need to win the laptop for my brother @battebilly. When Batte joined steemit, he had been a 2years unemployed graduate of computer science. All he had to his name was a second hand laptop our father had bought him for his degree. It was old and years had taken their toll on it. He thus would wire it to get some work done. When he joined steemit, I was an intern at makerere university school of law. He was very enthusiastic and would pass by to say hallo and urge me to sign up( which I only did because i didn't want to kill his spirit). He would then walk with his broken laptop to the faculty of ICT to get free WiFi so he could steem.(data/mbs expensive more so on a laptop and he had no smart phone) I don't want to imagine how it was for him to have to arrange his laptop amidst some students for the state of his laptop is pitiable even in an African university. All i know is he was determined and persevered. evidence of this is in one of his storieshttps://steemit.com/promo-steem/@battebilly/the-joy-of-withdrawing-money-for-the-first-time-i-can-now-tell-everyone-i-meet-about-steemit-without-fear

Firstly, I would want to thank you @dobartim for this amazing help you're rendering on steemit. If most steemians would emulate you then this platform would just be the best online social platform. I can only but have words of prayers and honest wishes for you. Your pocket will never run dry so as to keep on helping people. My God will bless you.
My name is Ogbonna Henry Nnaemeka. I'm a recent graduate from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria . i started looking for a job i could do after graduation, so i could support my family with it but have not succeeded yet. This has frustrated my plans of helping my family, i feel so awful already especially as regards to my immediate elder sister who is married and just had a baby. she is unemployed and is finding it difficult taking care of the baby. i had hoped i would get a work to support her, but am restrained by no work available yet for me. it pains me to see my sister suffering and not being able to feed the baby properly. The husband had a problem with the job recently and has been trying to get a new one ever since, i was thinking i could stand in the gap for them. i had introduced her to steemit since she is a good writer, but she has no compatible phone, talk more of a laptop to do this. If @dobartim helps my family, we would so remain very grateful. i intend giving her the laptop so she can make some money from it through steemit and help the family, she is also good with many office tools like Msword, excel and few others, she could do few works for people to earn some money for the family. i hope i can be benefit from this and help my family and also share my testimony like others. have a great week ahead SIR
Thanks for the contest. I guess this was the one I wrote about where I made a mistake posting the wrong picture. Lol. I can't help laughing at myself.

Two weeks ago u decided to win a laptop for my cousin @MacDonaldfebi whose father lost his 13 Year old job with the civil service.

If he wins this laptop he promises to use the laptop for online business on campus where he will carry out student's registrations for a fee. This will go a long way to making sure be pays his fees before long.
@MacDonaldfebi is in pains and needs this laptop the most. Please help him sir. This is a post he made as evidence.
