Always the night

Entirely I go
Into the night.
The sleeping tapestry
Elicits the rhythm of Child Hearts.
The beating pockets
Of shadow
Does not still the fluttering
Raven wings.
And so I go.
I go fast.
Mercury on Steroids,
A bullet through a wall,
My mind made up
Like a sponge.
I dream of the tides,
The incoming flotsam,
The generality of creativity,
And the night,
Always the night.
