Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great. It's again about the 100 DAY POETRY CHALLENGE (hosted by @d-pend). It's Day 81 today and below is my entry.

A BRIEF ABOUT MY ENTRY

Today, my entry titled "Childhood" is a free verse poem talking about my wish for a moment with my chilhood. I hope you enjoy it.

I remembered how life was so fun
Running round the streets
with stomach protruded and uncovered.

I remembered how making sand house
And a mini home with sticks and cloth
Was the highest thought on my mind.

I remembered how Baba's story
Under the gazing bright moon
Was the highest anticipation I had.

Innocence, less worry
And plain naivety
Best described what our lives was.

How I wish that
Time spent and memories created
can take a rewind.

Oh, dear Childhood
I wish you could lend me
Just a few minute of your soothing presence.
