Thank you for yet another reason I am not in chat at all. I'm to dumb to figure it out in the first place so I put it way down the list. I think a very good portion of bad things come out of chat and why post there when you should be posting here?

Well, I do check into Steemit Chat, for Steem stuff, but I really truly enjoy Twitter as it's the place i do most of my research.
Every time I go in that one to promote a post I get people who say "hi" and then send me their posts forever. I think I have 5 of them now. Plus the few people who do actually contact me - I can't open the message so I just find one of their steemit posts and ask them what they want there.
That's an interesting use of Twitter. It's more salesy for me. I use Pinterest for my research more.
Well, you need to register on steemit chat first to read the messages. I noticed i cant always read steemit chat by the email links, so i always login to steemit chat separately to check the messages.
