This is my entry.
In this picture, i capture moments where some Nigerians were harvesting rain water. Interestingly, millions depend on this crude method since clean portable water is hard to come by.

Na so. Please how is clean water hard to come by in Nigeria please. Na WA o. Nigerians will do nothing for money! Stop making Nigeria look or sound like its a very bad place to live in and we arent civilized. There is clean water almost everywhere in naija plus how is this a talent self?
It shows how much you know.
Do you know anything about water quality? Water availability isn't the same as water accessibility.
60 million Nigerians lack clean water! In fact some reportsgive a higher figures! Do you know how people contract diseases from polluted water? There is a village I have visited that doesn't even have a single tap until a group donated one to it. Many drink from streams, alongside herds of cattle.
Even in Urban centres, many cities lack water. Many parts of Lagos lack water. Residents pay apokis to fetch water for the. Ditto for Ibadan and many other parts of Nigeria lack water.
How many public water treatment facilities in Nigeria are optimally functional? How many citizens get their daily water need from such facilities?
Your comment is a simplistic way of interpreting my submission- very unscholarly. Even parts of the US lack. Did you read about the recent and perennial water (lead) pollution and lack of access to clean water in parts of the US? I bet you know nothing about that. Does that make the US uncivilized? Come on guy, open your mind, read wide!
So, please, next time, know you facts right before you cast aspersions on other people's work, else you make yourself look funny in public. Access to clean water and a healthy Environment is a critical research area that many young scientists, including me, in Nigeria commit to and you.
Which part of Nigeria do you live and how many residents there have access to clean portable water? Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano, Abuja, Ibadan? 80% of residents in those State lack access to clean, portable water? That's a sad fact!
Smh thats all I have to say to you.. Please How has what you just said relate to been a talent. Lets start with you.. Dont you have clean water to bathe in your house... Water isnt a basic necessity in Nigeria whether quality or quantity you should prolly come to Delta and see water everywhere clean water less I forget you maybe staying in the village... You guys wont follow instructions. When you check the NEWS when last did you hear people dieing of dirty water or a sickness related to dirty water. We dont have that much water in Benin but there is clean water when everything is constant. My major point is what you said is not related to the steemit stars talent so maybe you should learn to follow instructions
You know I just checked and realized I posted the wrong picture in the wrong contest.
The picture was for a science contest, not this. And I thought to emphasize my work on water.
My bad. Error not intended.
But that said, water issues are critical in Nigeria, water is a necessity. Many town, including in Delta, lack it. The national figures are there for all to see.
Thanks for drawing my attention to the error in mixing up the contest.
