I am not looking to judge people, but the steemjet space force must continuously assess the current state of crypto competition if we want to achieve our goals of longevity.
And of course most people who took the payout had personal needs which we need not discuss.
But since we are building a crypto curriculum of sorts, we could use the comparison discussion.
I was just wondering which other cryptos besides EOS are looking good to the steemjet space force and why?
This will in no way affect your payout, etc, as it appears that we have reached 90% acceptance of the early payout offer, and we might as well use this opportunity to learn together.

I know that STEEM does not look as good as an investment as EOS currently, but what OTHER coins (communities) are making you want to join and why?

Hello @dimimp, I hope you are doing well and getting stronger, I was just reading through your replies on the last post and it's very touching. I hope you take some time to rest a bit.
As someone who put in about 18-20 hours everyday on Steem and blockchain related work, I know the stress that comes with this work. Then couple with the extra work you have. There are some options you might use like bot configuration and others I have in mind. I think I'll discuss that with you later.
Now, about the issue of other crypto investment, though I didn't take the instant liquid Steem payout, I still have my sbd payout sitting in my wallet as I scan the horizon. For now, I had my investment in only three cryptos: bitcoin, ethereum and Steem. But I'm studying other cryptos which work on prove of brain through communities to see how we'll use that in building any community we want when the smt is out. I believe with smt and Hivemind will come a big opportunity, but the challenge I have with smt is that there's almost no updates from the dev team to the community on what we should expect.
If you have a more understanding of what to expect with SMT and community development, I'll love to learn some more. So long and stay strong.
I think you should also check swiftdemand and enlte. They are both still in their Ico stage for now. My main focus has being steem and swiftdemand

I also thought about investing in steem.

I have not bought any other crypto coin because I actually do not know how that works. But I am looking at the different platforms to see if they will work as well as steemit or better until then I reserve my judgment.
As for my liquid steem, I powered up and now use my SP to curate as much as my VP will allow.
Nice step you are taking powering up your steem.... I advice you take part in getting some wowcoin for yourself it's cool. I have gotten it my self although it not high like the EOS
I didn't invest so much in other cryptocurrencies because of my love for steem. I believe that one day steem will grow up to be ahead of bitcoin.
But if I ever get steem from you as a bonus. I will buy Bitcoin Cash and etherum these cryptocurrency has some potential bright futures

I buy a lot of coins for long term but am already got Profit from TRX . this crypto give me 2X profit within 2 days , also i have some Other Good Crypto like BTG and NEo and some other less value Crypto .. @dimimp
Apart from the strong top 10 coins there is hidden value in "smaller" coins as well.
Bitshares (Dan's child) will reach very high and so will Cardano( they will release the 2nd protocol any time soon and its price will skyrocket)in my humble opinion.
And i think the same goes for Verge and one you might not be familiar withAchain(this company has tremendous technology - imagine that it is a supplier and builder of blockchains)
I would love to hear you opinion on these if you have spare time to make a quick reserch

I bought some EOS, BTCP and TRX.
EOS is certainly a good project, i still haven't done my research on it very well but it seems to be getting the most attention right now in the crypto space.
BTCP looks a disappointing project right now for so far not been listed on high profile exchanges but a coin having a bitcoin brand along side its privacy technology and at its current value is considered a steal for me.
TRX is getting involved right now and with the annoucement of Tron’s public blockchain main net, its worth investing.
Steem for me is still a great investment, considering SMT. I'm still invested in steem

I was one of those who used the Steem for personal needs but the problem is that I sold those 550 Steem at the dip around 1,90 dollars. I got around 800€ when I sold them and I still need 700€ more to pay for my driving school. I would've literally had to wait for ONE week and I would have had the money. But what can you do this is the crypto world and I sold at a bad time
And if I had invested it I would have bought some EOS and then just buy around 10 other cryptos

The value of what you got is directly proportional to the value of selling at a good time because of how needy you were.. To me there is no good nor bad market time because if you have had no need you won't had bother selling them. All the same better days are ahead

Well I bought Eos and ethereum. With some bitshares.
Bitshares cos it's Dan's brain work with a lot of future potential and it's the second strongest blockchain.it will be sought after much in the near future. .
Ethereum too. I still believe in it even though it's been low for long now. It's a blockchain that hosts a truckload ťon of tokens and it's still very efficient, so it should go high when the markets improve.
I'm sure I don't need to say anything about EOS since you're very well conversant with its superamazing features and promised tremendous scalability

I invested in xap tokens. For a new generation social media called apics coming soon. Their on their ICO sales at the moment.
i was introduced to appics where there was an ICO going on. so i had to invest in XAP token. APPICS is a social media that is built on top the steemit block chain. so i bought XAP token as it has a potential for growth and ICO was about 0.15$
Well, I don't know much about other cryptos, the first crypto I've been exposed to is Steem, and so far, no matter how hard I try to understand others, I can't seem to know them as much as Steem, or maybe I'm too busy trying to get things to work out with Steem that I can't bring myself to understand others. So with my pay out, I got myself a new and better android to Steem with as prior to the pay out, I was offline for a month for malfunction of my previous device. Now I'm back in full, and I'm grateful to you sir, and steem for that.
I don't know if it's the right way to think, or if I'm just a minnow in the crypto world but I just love and believe in steem too much that even if it actually crashed, I'd die hard to create something world class, and name it after steem.

In as much as STEEM has a bright future, I think it is good for business to invest in other currencies. But then, I didn't get any liquid STEEM to buy any coin. However, I'd love to get some EOS if the funds come handy while sticking very close to STEEM.
