Through out time education has been regarded as a means of enlightenment, this gives reason for having various institutions turn applicants into undergraduates then finally to graduates which are sent into the labor market with many of them grossly unprepared for life. There is a noticeable decrease in the number of employable personnel not because there are no graduates but because most of the 21st century graduates are only academically sound theory-wise but not in practicality. It is defendable to say that many students only get schooled and not necessarily educated .Schooled in the sense that their purpose for going to the university was just to pass examinations and obtain a certificate. The essence of schooling is to acquire an education ,which is the ability to develop oneself from within, it is a systematic training that develops the mind to updated with matters that concerns the future and life at large. Education’s greatest function is to develop a person’s personality and its significance to him/herself and others, Such demands you taking time, putting effort and resources to discover and develop your talents and abilities. Everyone has all is required to discover and develop their talents and abilities. Your will is needed, the never give up spirit, a hard working mind and being a person that thinks of the future of your family, commumity and societye. we owe posterity and antecedent making our world better than we met it.
