What makes cryptocurrency looks scammy is the number of fake coins, more pump and dump coins on the charts now and people easily get fooled.
I think this is what Steem will stand to benefit from the ongoing bans on crypto ads. This will really prove to investors a lot of the fake cryptos out there and will make some of them to withdraw their investment into more stable and secure cryptocurrency like Steem. When this happens then we are bound to have an increase value for Steem.

Sure? Well, that's a word that is not really preferred in the market analysis circle. Only two things are sure in this life - death and taxes. Every other thing just have high probability of occurring.

Very valid point! That's another instance where dips help. Many of these fake extremely volatile coins can't withstand dips and disappear completely before the uprising.
Sometimes dips cleanse the market too!
