SteemKitchen Recipe Contest 7 (Week 4 : Snacks) -Who does not like onion rings?

Source

Today we are going to learn how to make homemade onion rings, an appetizer recipe that works when they are crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serving size: 4 people

Ingredients (For 4 people):

  • 1 Onion cut into rings
  • 150 g Wheat flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 200 ml of Milk
  • Bread crumbs
  • Chemical yeast 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Elaboration:

  1. To make these homemade onion rings, crispy and tasty, we started by cutting the onion into discs, as I taught you by telling you how to easily make the different onion cuts. Once we cut the rings, we passed the rings for flour and we reserved them.

  2. We complete that same flour with the milk, the yeast and the well-beaten egg. In that dough, we overcoat the onion rings with flour and then we go through the bread crumbs. Meanwhile, we put the oil to heat.

  3. Fry the onion rings in batches of five or six to maintain the temperature of the oil and so that the rings do not touch each other. When they are well browned, we drain them on an absorbent paper and bring them to the table, noting that they are usually very hot inside.

Thank you for having read my post, I hope you find it appealing, as you can see with things you probably have at this moment in the kitchen, it is not a big effort to elaborate it, but a good snack with good results. I like many onion rings, they are a good way to eat something made fast, and even ideal for meetings.
