RE: We Are The Best Advocates For Steem

in #steemleo6 years ago

Here's one of the pitches I'm working on (my free speech one). If you want a place to store and spread your thoughts on the internet, a self hosted Wordpress blog on a server you rent is pretty much the gold standard.

However that comes with technical know how and responsibilities and even then, if you're attacked for what you say, there are a number of points of weakness: the web host, any technical help you need and eventually your DNS provider. For video I'm recommending @threespeak because I find it reliable.

Steem is the site you don't have to pay to use. You might need to chip in a couple of bucks at the start to get an account but beyond that, if you can contribute you can generate enough resources to keep working on the chain. If you produce really good content, you can be rewarded.

Forget the price of Steem, forget get rich quick schemes, this is a place where it is (almost) impossible to be censored.
