I was working in a stockbroking firm some years back helping clients make decisions about what stock to buy based on their goal. Some clients wanted to buy stocks that paid good dividends yearly, some wanted stocks that would grow rapidly in price while others wanted stocks that were stable and grew steadily.

On their own they could not take a decisions because there was just too many stocks listed on the stock exchange, going for one without knowing what the other was about made them feel they needed the services of an expert. On our part we would have learnt about virtually all the companies listed, their industry/sector, how government policies were going to after them positively/negatively going forward, new investors, how the sector is performing generally and how the company itself was performing and so on and so forth.

There were clients who for ethical reasons didn’t want to invest in some certain sectors like the brewery or tobacco sector. Some hated the insurance sector for their own personal reasons though I could relate to the insurance issues back in the days but now it is getting better now. The good thing in all of these was that people had a choice to choose what they wanted to invest in.

A lot of tokens are been created regularly on the Steem-Engine. Yeepee!!! Before now we were used to posting on the general platform and a few alternatives with little incentive to use their UI. Some post were created and virtually nobody saw it because it was like a little drop in a mighty ocean.

Now we’re having UI’s with specific post topics, what this is doing is that it is making us have the opportunity to have our post seen by the people we intend it for. We have LEO for investment related posts, SPORTS for sports related posts, WEED for cannabis related posts, SCT for blockchain and cryptocurrency related posts, AAA for movie review posts, SPT for mostly Splinterland game posts and a whole host of others.

This in a way is making searching for topics relating to what you are looking for easier. It is also helping to keep us updated about some topics or issues. For instance, if I wanted to know the current happens on the sporting arena, all I need to do is go to the sportstalksocial.com UI and viola! You’ve got the latest updates on what’s happening in the sports world. If you wanted to learn one or two things about investing then you head over to the steemleo.com UI and viola! So many investment stuff shows up that relate to inveting. We also have loads of video UI’s springing up thanks to ScotTube.

Where you choose to invest now it not limited, it is growing everyday with every new token that lands on Steem-Engine. I like that they are becoming more and more specific, this alone is making a lot of Minnows act the role of a whale on these new UIs’ so it is a positive development.

This is indeed great for the Steem blockchain, so many exciting things happening right now, for me the price of Steem currently is a blessing in disguise, because it is presenting us the opportunity to grow our accounts. This is a buying opportunity that may not present itself in the future again.

If you are looking at Steem from the development side of it then you know that the current price is a good bargain but is you are just looking at it from just the price trend then you might not notice all the wonderful things happening right now.
