I remember back in the 90s everyone wanted to go to Hawaii. It was advertised as this tropical foreign paradise and it was a dream place to go. But now no one talks about Hawaii and everyone wants to go to the Caribbean. I know far too many people who have been on vacations there in the past few years. It's interesting how things change. I'm not a beach person so I'd probably forgo the Caribbean and head to some mountains.
