Topics Discussed:
- Submissions should be maker-based, sufficient photos and videos giving a clear explanation of what was made. Post of the make should be in plain and understandable English.
• Submitted contents will be thoroughly reviewed to ensure no plagiarism and abuse of the system.
Set up a quality metric system. Based on a questionaire resulting in badges. Questionaire will be made based on hack-md document by @drmake.
Based on the quality metric system, posts will be devided in categories: Gold, Silver and Bronze. They’ll also be rewarded according to these. A diamond reward could be used if 3 rewards are not sufficient.
A “Weekly post” will be made based on the questionnaire, in support of the best maker of the week, and is published on the website for longer visibility.
Promotion ourselves as good as possible, attract makers to the steem blockchqin by guiding them to us and try to attract makers outside of steem via marketing. Making a tutorial to onboard non steem users.
The SteemMakers website could / should mention the extra support it can give to makers. (On the site’s landing page footer?)
Discussion about how Utopian rewards its users and how it currently trails and wishes to trail steemmakers? Request from utopian for a quality indicator.
Commented footer need to be changed? With "as extra support for your contribution, Utopian will also upvote you accordingly."
Post payout / medals should be visible for each post.
Several smaller ideas to improve the website GUI.
- Posts by the SteemMaker account will probably also be upvoted by utopian because they fall under the blog category. This also can be used, not abused, to grow the SteemMakers bot it's Steem Power.
- Entries will later be added to a queue and the voting will be based on the ones with most quality first.
Thanks for keeping notes and writing the report!
You're welcome. You're the man :-D
