I'll go ahead and confess it: I'm a Tweetaholic.
I'm on Twitter more than I'd like to admit. For me it's better than any news channel because I get to obsess over information that I can't find anywhere else. And I get to pretend that my favorite writers like Charles Bukowski are still alive. But my #1 favorite thing to do on Twitter is vent my various frustrations and compulsively tweet my random art crap. My favorite personalities on Twitter currently are: @Satoshi_N_, @BoredElonMusk, @girlzplocked, @manwhohasitall and @SwiftOnSecurity.
Starting several hours ago, I began creating a bunch of memes for the #SteemMemes project because I found a bunch of memes on Twitter. This one was fairly successful on Twitter so far today. Don't worry, I devolve into mess by the end of this post....
I'm not sure if the SteemMemes thing is still going on, but I had fun pushing the limits of the directive, "Make it clean."
I think I stuck pretty much to the guidelines, but it's always hard to tell where your own sense of humor meets the edges of someone else's offensive lines. Pointing out flaws and telling my gatekeepers the truth have always gotten me in trouble at all my "jobs", so I guess it's just what I know how to do best:
Someone had mentioned in the comment section of the FBI Tesla post that Ned looks a little like Nikola Tesla and I have to agree!(ps- can you tell what two things are from Nikola Tesla on Ned's head?)
The best example of how I usually don't pay much attention to corporate authority was when I was employed by AEON, an English school company in Japan. As English teachers we were instructed to sell absurdly overpriced textbooks to our students. These textbooks were usually marked up more than 1000% from the normal price. We attended training sessions to try and manipulate our students to buy these books from us. Well, it turned out that these same textbooks were sold in nearby bookstores for way less money. When I introduced these books to my students, I said the AEON sales pitch, but at the end, I said, "Or you can buy this book for way less money at your local Maruzen. There's a store 5 minutes away that sells them."
When my manager found out I'd been telling them they could buy their textbooks at Maruzen she was furious.
She exploded in my face, screaming at me. I just looked at her and felt bad that she was ok about lying to people. I was a little afraid she might fire me, but I figured that would be a drastic move for AEON. The topic was never brought up again and I kept telling the students about the options they had when purchasing their books.
On that note, let's get into the memes. I'll start with the most innocuous ones first, then end with a bang! If you're a whale, you might as well, just skip the last one.......
Ah, the Zuck, our favorite person right now....
Steemit feels like a disease sometimes....
Baby steps, baby steps
Ah, the boys....
Synereo....
And now for the finale......whales, turn your eyes away.......

lol
When @masteryoda posted memes he was flagged. And his memes had more quality. Sorry, don't funny, seems you did it at your knee in some minutes.
Hey, the danpet one took me about an hour....
That was before the SteemMemes thing was on.
LOL, the last one is more suited under the #digitalart tag, great stuff!
"Bring out the Shrem-pet also!" (I love the Ned one!)
Steempet...Cool!
I have noticed your post was flagged by R4fken, well known steemit hater.
I am for justice and I am here with all my Steem Power to help you resist his hate downvotes and let your post be visible for steem users. Upvoted!
thank you. are you a bot? I don't mind if you are, I was just curious...
These are great, I did some meme's yesterday as well. I am fairly new here, and I just want to say I enjoy reading your work, and also your comments! I kind of have a crush.
You're not that new.....I've seen your name a lot.....well, thanks for saying that. Jeez.....
Well, about 5 weeks, it took me a while to see your posts, but I think you must be one of the most mentioned people on the site. See you around. (not in a creepy way) lol.
When I first found Steemit, it was like crack cocaine for me. I posted 2 times per day every day. I wrote like 6 hours or more per day. I basically was killing myself in many ways. I overdosed. Now, I try to limit myself a bit, still posting, but not being obsessive like in the early days.. I used to spend like 12+ hours per day on here, and I had to quit my jobs to make room for Steemit.. I might be insane actually....
Who wouldn't have a crush. It's @stellabellle!
I like the frog one, he should be running away from fb though :D
I feel like people will be on facebook as their security social blanket......that's what's happening to me.....I'm still on it, but not engaged anymore.
I'm still there, mostly to keep in touch with family through messenger. I did spend about two hours there when I was ill last week never again, it was so depressing.
Lol at whale juice, hehe, really liked that one!
Tweetaholic too. Infojunkie and I will not admit I have a problem.
