Hey there! Last season was great. It's this one I'm having a hard time with. First getting the double set-back, which lots of folks were complaining about (I was in Gold 1 and then I could enjoy Bronze for another day before being put back in Silver), then the wave of formidable players with their level 6 cards kicking my ass as they're battling their way back to the Champions league. Otherwise it's all good. How about yourself?

I'm debating whether I should put more money into the game by leveling up cards. Most of my cards being used are in alpha so they have a relatively expensive price to level up :/
These are for matches where level is the determining factor especially with same deck builds. Getting bored with the current Life Deck as my main but on the fence on spending more on it.
Yeah, I'd say leveling up is essential to move ahead. But I'm with you on not wanting to put any money into the game... at least not my own. At first I did, of course, by getting a starter pack, a booster pack, and various cheaper beta cards from the market. All together it cost me $25 which I thought was okay, but really the limit of how much I wanted to spend. From then on I only used the money I got from selling reward cards (some of them for pennies, other for a nice chunk of dough), as well as the money I got from steemmonster posts, like this one. It seems to work all right, and not just for me. If you check out @itisjustme's experiment, she's doing the same: started to play from scratch last season, trying to get ahead without putting extra money into it.
