It is time to give back to the Steem Monsters community!
The game is live!!
It is still a first edition of the game and the ultimate goal is to get into the champions league!
Through the rest of October the game will be as follows: As you play you'll earn "rating points." As you move up in rating, you will enter into different leagues. Your rewards at the end of the season will depend on the highest league you attained at any point during that season. The initial set of rewards will be as follows:
Bronze League (100+ rating): 1 pack
Silver League (1000+ rating): 2 packs
Gold League (1900+ rating): 5 packs
Diamond League (2800+ rating): 10 packs
Champion League (3700+ rating): 20 packs
Pretty cool to see how this will turn out. At the moment I am at 2258 points and ranked number in fifth place and in the GOLD league! Still a long way to go to get to the top leagues, but I am getting there ;).
In order to celebrate this fantastic game I continue with my simple daily card(s) give-away, where all you have to do is write a comment on the post of the day. A lucky winner will be chosen out of all the comments. The plan is to do this for a month and see how it all goes. I can tell you that there will be some interesting cards for grabs during these 30 days...

A common gold Spineback Turtle would make the basis of a nice gold team, but maybe I'm asking for a little too much? LOL!
What I like about the game? Well the gameplay. :P If you get paired with the same level opponent ofc. Also, there's something magical about opening those booster packs. :)
I am only the second day in the game, but I like that there is a distribution of ranks and I, with my 100 points, cannot get to the plow with 1000 or more points. It seems to me that this is correct.
Most of all I like how the prices of various cards in the market grow :) Do you know how they plan to charge XP?

yes, that will be in tournaments in 4-8 weeks :)
Fine, otherwise I already started to worry :) I thought that XP would not be given as a reward at all.
I think it will be a long road to level up, but that is part of the fun ;)

I am starting to try and venture into this game. Unfortunately the website is currently blocked on this computer due to privacy or security settings. I'll give it a try when I get home but I need to create an account first.
BTW I avidly use Presearch and love it, though I wish I was at the value you are! I am at a meager 82 PRE but still better than nothing.

What I like is that it is very addictive, although I have a losing streak, I can not leave it, hehe.
I think the rotation of mana and later when they add to acquire xp will be the best
I didn't know they were giving away lower-level prizes too. That's cool!
I like that there are a lot of different options that you can use for your teams. :)
I like that I can own my cards... it's not just within the game, but an actual asset with a value. Someday these cards may be used for other games, increasing their demand even more!
First, thank you for organizing this contest and encourage people to play this magnificent game.
What I like most about the game is the possibility of creating multiple teams combining different monsters.
To advance in SteemMonsters ranking you must change teams constantly to adapt to your rivals and thus be able to win the battles and rise in ranking.
That the games make you think is great!
what i like best huh!!!.....i like best when with a lvl 1 deck i smash a lvl 4 deck....the satisfaction is unspeakable !!!
It's still a lot of guessing work, since I still don't know what I'm doing half of the time. Who could have imagined I would have such a hard time trying to understand ghow a game works.
But I'm having a lot of fun, and i guess that's the most important of all :0)
My favorite part about steemmonsters is that while it costs to purchase cards, the individual games and other minor transactions don't cost. I won a couple cryptokitties and was really excited to play until I realized I had to buy another kind of crypto in order to breed or even post to the market.
I guess I haven't been so excited to participate in this kind of games since I spent my days battling with my yu gi oh! Now that Steemmonsters is online I can say that I have a lot of fun learning and battling again. It's like bringing the past to the present and enjoying those things that made me feel good as a child.
I've lost so many times to those nasty thorns on that guy! Just murders my tank every time he hits it and anything else. It's like you wanted it dead but what is going be the cost of doing so. Even more so with that armor it has!

I like the fact that the game is inclusive and anyone can play - even with lower level decks as there's a bit of chance and luck involved too. It's addictive and a lot of fun!
every single card has its own identity which I liked most about this game. you cant get card 2 card having same identification number
DO gold cards have better stats compared to normal cards. i dont really understand why they are so much more valuable

What I like most about the game is that a person with lower level cards can beat cards that are 1-2 levels higher. I love when the tiny cards beat up the big popular ones.
I like how the different colors work against each other. Death seem to always be a bit in advantage when playing against light but that's different with other factions.

although it's very frustrating at the moment because I can't keep up I can see, that in the future, that will keep it more interesting. 😊
I like the simplicity, and that is also so tactical. Also i like how theY ChaNge the mana amount to change things up. Also, pretty sure I'll like the tournaments. I guess i like everything so far. Plus it gives me something fun to do to kill time, and THE BIGGEST THING I LOVE ABOUT IT, IS THE FACT THAT IT'S REALLY HELPING OUR BLOCKCHAIN, AND BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER!
