I'm not positive, but I think it has to do with editing an existing post counting as another post and with each post you earn less or something like that. I hope someone who does know for sure will chime in to clear up any confusion.
And after 4 post I believe you're basically earning nothing(?).
That could be it, but real answers would be best, like you said. We will see...
