Good morning steemians and how was your night? A question quickly comes to mind this minute and I think I should just make it public.
On a sincere note, who owns the land?
According to some real estate experts, land is a preliminary input and factor of production which is not consumed but no production is possible without it. It is an asset with no cost of production despite the fact that its usage can be switched from a less to more profitable one, its supply cannot be increased. The term also includes all physical elements in the wealth of a nation gifted by nature; such as climate, environment, fields, forests, minerals, mountains, lakes, streams, seas, and animals. As an asset, it includes anything (1) on the ground (such as buildings, crops, fences, trees, water), (2) above the ground (air and space rights), and (3) under the ground (mineral rights), down to the center of the Earth.

Some people owns a land, shouts it's my land! it's my land and protects it with everything they have, some procured all the necessary papers like land ownership receipts, the land papers, layouts and some even went as far as getting the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O). In africa, people kill because of land, they use orthodox spiritual power to claim and drive others away from land.
But when someone owns a land and dies, its either such is buried on that particular land or burial ground (land). The land we try to secure had since ages past swallow uncountable humans but man is still holding claims to land. Would it not be offensive if I say the land own us?
I am not saying in totality that it is bad to own a land asset but taking it to the extreme of killing because of it is totally unacceptable.
REMEMBER THAT DEATH IS INEVITABLE AND YOU SHALL EVENTUALLY LEAVE THE LAND.

I really have to answer and justify your question...
"Would it not be offensive if I say the land own us?"
The holy book made us to understand that from dust we came and from dust we shall return. So I found fighting over land very absurd.
