Steemnova is a browser-based strategy space game exclusive only for steemians via SteemConnect v2 implemenatation. But unlike other project link to steem, steemnova is currently not working on top of steem blockchain. However, some dedicated developer are started to work hard to link steemnova on steem blockcain perhaps. My question is will @ned or other steemit whale will support this game?

I would think that @ned would expect that this game and other efforts like it would be handled using SMTs in the future.

Yeah, i think ( but i lack the knowledge on this atm ) that the way to go would be with a SMT for the game, a token/coin that could be traded into sbds, etc?
