You can now check the top ranking reputation levels of users on the Steem blockchain at the new reputation page at Steem Ocean... Lets look at the latest stats!
Since I just hit a reputation of 70, I wondered how high I am in the overall list of all Steemians but I hit a brick wall. The website 'Steem Whales' is means to display this information, but it is broken and the data is weeks out of date.. I searched around and didn't find anywhere that lists the reputation data for Steem users in a table - So I made one!
The new page on Steem Ocean currently only displays the top 1000 highest ranking accounts - I may add reputation as a standard field to the daily voter ranking index table too.
It turns out that I am currently the 267th highest Repp'd user on Steem. Cosidering there are now over 1 million accounts, that's pretty good! I am actually higher than @dan - the original designer. I can see many names above me in the table that I recognise and that have a higher reputation and, yes, @haejin is at the top spot with a reputation of 79.962.
The Top 100 Steem users by Reputation
I recommend visiting Steem Ocean for the full data in realtime - but here's the current top 100 (I can't post any more here as the posting length limit is exceeded with many more):
Wishing you well,
Ura Soul
Vote @ura-soul for Steem Witness!
View My Witness Application Here
(Witnesses are the computer servers that run the Steem Blockchain.
Without witnesses there is no Steem, Steemit, DTube, Utopian or
Busy... You can really help Steem by making your 30 witness votes count!
Don't forget, there are more than the 50 witnesses you see on the witness voting page in steemit.com)
Lots of good info found. I'm grateful for you tremendous and useful job
Yay Top 50 for me :)
Congratulations! I will follow you to find out your magic! :)
You sir, deserve to be at the top of that list.....you are a great force for this platform. It is good to hear you again. I was really unwell for a while but I am so happy to be back on here. Thank you for all of your support in the past.
Oh, you are welcome. Thanks and I wish you a continued recovery to a new, stronger version of yourself! :)
I'm 201st by reputation! I got to 70 around September last year, I think. Still trying to reach 71. It's a shame Steemwhales hasn't been working as it gave a lot of insight into progress. Steem Ocean can replace some of that. It's no surprise who the biggest self-voter is :)
I saw that, yes! Congrats!
I will be looking at steemwhales in more detail to see how best to take over from it. :)
It turns out you directly do it. Steemian should be grateful to you, lots of new information contained in steemocean.
So you already know what position you are in?
Yes, as I said above, I am position 267! I will expand this page soon so that anyone can find their position.
Congrat😁😁
Great work, can you filter for 'organically grown' reputation rather than bought. I did a little experiment with minnow booster recently (I know, naughty) and was rather distressed to find that I can 'buy' my reputation at the same time as I buy my votes! (Not something I intend to do going forwards, but I think one has to try most things on here to really know the platform.)
Oh congrats on the big organic 70 BTW, I think that was quite recently wasn't it?!
It is possible to remove reputation that has been bought using bots, yes - it's an interesting concept and I'd like to do it, but it will take quite a lot of organisation and processing power.. It's something to note down for the future.
That's interesting to know. Cheers! I wish I had the skills to contribute towards it.
Appreciate yr efforts with the ocean btw - great tool!
But does the rep really matters on Steem ? Since you can buy it with bots ...
Congrat's for the rep 70 !
Yes, it's just a rough figure - at least it shows how much intention and desire you have to interact on the blockchain!
@ura-soul you did a great job so far and honestly I support you. Soon you will be in top 100. Keep up the good work and support steemit platform. I respect your content and your work. Once I went wrong and because of people like you I came back on the track.
Omg, I used to think it was @papapepper that has the highest rep...lol
Thank you for the update, you are indeed a man of your word, you promised it in your last post, and now you fulfilled the promise.
267 is not a bad results, with your dedication, I know it would be a matter of time before you join the centurion...smile
Great work @ura-soul and hope you will be in top 100 soon and my support is with you your content is helping me to learn steemit more clearly, all The best for the future and wish to see more of your content
@ura-soul this is a pains taking job but you did it anyway, I really love your content it's one of the best.
And of course you are one of my role model
Wow this is amazing, clicking the names took me to the full profile of each user on steem ocean. This is so nice. Kudos, someday I hope to see my name there
OMG... reputation 70? Congrats @ura-soul. You really deserve it. You have worked very hard on this platform over time creating good contents and supporting new and growing steemers. God bless you.
WOW, you are #267 in the Ranking reputation top 1000 steem-users @ura-soul: well done!
P.s.: Voted for Witness. ;)
Bravo
Way to go, I just wanted to know about those people to learn from them and you made it easy for me, thanks again.
Thanks for the list of steem tops you share, with your steem now you include a pretty good reputation, even if you're not in the top 100.
Thanks @ura-soul
This is pretty informative for all of us ...you have arranged top 100 steem users accordingly by their reputation ... thank for this informative post @ura-soul
Praising the whales yet again.
Where is the praise of whales here?
Truthfully I'm not trying to focus on the "top 1000 accounts" or the most popular posts or the trending news that steemit seems to LOVE to give me. I want to find smaller accounts but even the search system is pretty bad. I and the rest of the people I have trouble finding hardly get enough recognition as it is, so why give extra praise to those that have already succeeded in the system who can make a living from their blogging?
I agree that content discovery is very poor here, I have said that since the beginning. Part of the purpose of Steem Ocean is to get around that problem and more features will be coming to address that in the future. The original service there was the voter rank table which attempts to order Steem users by their level of generosity, with the size of their wallet being able to be offset by the amount of accounts they upvote, for example. This has allowed the most generous users to be seen, regardless of their wallet size.
It is curation that is intended to solve the problem of post discovery and I have a plan to improve that too, but it is quite a big project.
Yeah. Looking forward to seeing what you do. Not nearly enough of us like and resteem for decent content discovery.
I bro.wonderful analysis.
@haejin-79.962 Congratulation bro....
