What is STEEM Park?
“STEEM Park” is an interactive community garden in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Located within the historic Herbert von King Park: STEEM Park is a pop-up installation that will be used to host Steemit meetups, local community events, workshops and dozens of activities throughout the year.

Good For Community, Good for Steemit
This new neighborhood hotspot in the heart of Brooklyn will act as a colorful and dynamic billboard for the Steemit community. We ( @hansikhouse + @voronoi ) believe that this physical design project is an important and exciting proof of concept for STEEM and Steemit. We want to build something physical, lasting and impactful with cryptocurrency. Tens of thousands of people will visit Steemit Park this summer. Our team will host Steemit workshops and events for the purpose of on boarding community members and activists to the Steemit platform (this includes park visitors, park representatives, volunteers, local residents and more!)
Upvotes and donations will translate directly to funding for furniture, events, park maintenance, beautification and restoration for a neighborhood in need. This project is about discovering new ways of using STEEM and Steemit for social good!

OMG - Please excuse my French but this is EFFIN BRILLIANT!!!! Since I joined last Wednesday, I've been reading so many posts to get a feel for the community on here and it has already been amazing. B-U-T this---THIS -- this is COMMUNITY at it's best right here. By far this is the best idea I've seen. I love sustainable design, architecture, and anything related to design -- furniture included. You guys really created something special here and the sponsors who jumped on this---BRAVO! This is gonna be so impactful on getting the word out about Steemit. Wonderful! It just...Brooklyn is not the closest destination, but projects like this are awesome! We have only one cryptocurrency-enthusiasts-meeting-place in Czech Republic and that is Parallel Polis. Every similar project is an enormous step for the whole crypto-world.

I like the design of the chairs, STEEM park would be very interesting, that would bring the platform to another dimension in this space. Very cool idea, upvoted and followed!
This is excellent ! This is going to have a huge impact on the steemit platform, i know people in NYC who are dying to get into things like this.
especially with the event being in a Park, itll catch alot of attention from people walking by during the day.
I wish other cities around the world took the initiative and went about starting projects like this one
