PALOCHINA TABLE MADE FROM USED CRATE
Palochina is a type of wood commonly used in making crates which are used for shipping. Here in the Philippines, palochina or palo-tsina is commonly used in making furnitures like tables, cabinets and sofas (frame). This wood is durable and easy to cut using your normal saw.
This is the table I made from palochina wood...
- It is importand that no nails are left in the wood after disassembly from crates.
- Proper measurement is the key for good results.
Adding some details makes it more appealing to the eye.
And ofcourse varnish to make it better
I didn't like the color so I changed the color of varnish and put glass on top.
Now, we're using it as our mini dining table. hooray!!
Thanks for reading and I hope you like my table. For basic carpentry tutorials, I am very willing to help in any way I can.
