Iligan City is known as the “City of Majestic Waterfalls” where you can explore 23 waterfalls within the City. One of them is Tinago falls. The word tinago is a Filipino word which means “hidden” in the sense that you need to trek for about 500 steps going down to the bottom. Tinago Falls is situated between the boundary of Iligan City and Linamon, Lanao del Norte. The photo in the below was taken last November 2015. It was my first time in Tinago when my former roommates in Iligan City invited me for a birthday celebration.
My experience in Tinago falls is what made my stay in Iligan worthy. I promised my self to visit that falls before I graduate. My friends in college keeps on planning, but most of the plans are just like promises.
The best part of being there at Tinago falls is to ride the bamboo raft which cost Php15.00 per head and go to the shower curtain of the falls. It is like you are in a massage when the water strikes your skin and muscle. The picture below includes my roommates.
The people above are my classmates in IIT. The picture was taken last July 2016. That was after our On-the-Job Training when some of my classmates went back already in Iligan City from different place and decided to visit Tinago Falls. I truly enjoyed every moments I had in Tinago falls. The water alone was so inviting, the sight of the waterfalls, the sound of the people really enjoy diving and swimming, and those people who are having fun in the bamboo raft while reaching the bottom of the falls. Give time to relax and visit Tinago Falls. Thank you and God bless!
Next time please include philippines as one of the tags :) ... Nice Tinago falls.. seems like a paradise hehehe
