I've always waited to play "pinoy henyo" in discord with some of the steeminas in PH, but for some reason either I forget about it or I'm out and can't be online.
PINOY HENYO or may be translated as GENIUS PINOY (FILIPINO) is a popular game here in the Philippines. It's mechanics is quite simple. A player will be told the word and the participants needs to guess the word by asking questions answerable only by yes or no by the other person. It's like charades.
So when I remembered that it's a Sunday and it's nearly 10 PM Manila time I immediately logged in to discord.
It's my first time joining so I thought I just need to say the answer verbally. Then the music started to play in the back round, then it became silent. I heard a man's voice and he is @twotripleow. Also @melanie0625 is there who I've already met once.
At first I did not know what to do, since I cannot unmute my mic. It's already starting. Then after roughly 20 mins I reached out to @twotripleow (he is the host) and I found where to type my answers to. haha. It was hilarious. Then I started participating and they are just so funny.
I answered correctly twice in the first round and most of the participants wanted more so we had another round and I scored 2 again. It's best of 5. I'm really thrilled and amused by their wit and sense of humor.
There are answers I can't even think of. I found the answer "sword" commonly used when talking about a thing either in the bed room or kitchen as long as it's pointed or sharp. I was laughing and really having a good time all throughout.
It lasted for roughly almost 3 hours and I did not even noticed the time. It's nearly 1 in the morning. :)
I will surely join again the next time. Thank you to all participants and to @twotripleow who facilitated the game. You guys are awesome. :)
