It is indeed difficult times for the Magsipoc family as the light of their home and mother of our dear friend @ardapyan, Mrs. Ma. Lourdes Magsipoc, continues her battle against cancer.
Mrs. Magsipoc was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and had undergone mastectomy. Late last year, however, they discovered that the cancer has metastasized to her bones, skull and spine.
She refused chemotherapy, and opted for a "natural" healing approach called immuno-therapy. This involves consuming organic food and medication only. On a monthly basis, she requires around PHP20,000 for these treatment alongside the expenses to transport her to the medical center.
Her son, @ardapyan and daughter in law @jovema, dear members of our steemph.UAE family are the ones who mainly support her needs.
Being OFWs here in Abu Dhabi, who also have their own little family to support, we know how hard it could get for their family. Not being there physically to care for their mother is already a big torment to them.
