Hello friends! I will be sharing 7 overlooking places with panoramic views in Cagayan de Oro City.
(1) High Ridge
Probably one of the most "barkada and family" go-to-places that was recently opened five years ago. It's a nice place to get away from the bustling city just 10 to 15mins away. A lot of people like to visit here during weekends, you can dine, enjoy small landscape areas, fully furnished air-conditioned function rooms and the top reason why people kept coming here is for the VIEW, offering a vantage and highest point surrounding the urban Cagayan de Oro.
The entrance fee is about 100 pesos which is consumable. Their food price ranges from 99 pesos up to 2000 pesos (for platters). For vegans you may have a fruitshake, a tea or a pasta. High ridge is open from 12noon to 12 midnight, Monday to Sunday. I recommend come at 4:30pm and wait for the sunset until the city lights starts.
Going to High Ridge is just approximately 4 kilometers by road from Divisoria.
If you have a PRIVATE VEHICLE you can take this route, on the left is Paseo del Rio next to Divisoria. Take Tomas Saco street and turn right upon reaching Corpus Christi School. As the road ascends follow the Macasandig – Taguanao Road until you reach a junction where a High Ridge Marker stands. Turn left along the Macasandig – Indahag road. There will be two roads on the left…turn left at the second road (ORANGE). Just follow the road and it will take you to HIGH RIDGE.
But what if you don't have? You can take a taxi or take this FREE shuttle service for you and your colleagues. The shuttle is stationed at Brgy. Macasandig Covered court (in-front of Corpus Christi School) with the following schedules:

(2) Eden Solace
Located at Upper Sumpong Indahag, Cagayan de Oro, It opened early 2016 with a good weather this is your next mini Sanctuary in the City. The entrance fee is only 20 pesos -non consumable. My friends and I enjoyed the picturesque place , the cottage fee ranges from 50 pesos to 200 pesos fee, they also have other amenities. We ordered pizza which was brought to us an hour after we ordered it was our first time so I don't know if they typically serve that long but if you came here and you are about to be hungry in few minutes make sure to order first.
The place is perfect also for barkadas and dates <3 you can chit chat here for as long as you have time. It also has some board games like Scrabble, play spin, chess, and even Mancala.
Going there.
If you have a PRIVATE VEHICLE, You can just pass Corpus Christi, Macasandig then go up passing by St. Mary’s School, then turn right when you reach the crossroad going to High Ridge. Go straight and read the sign.
But if you don't have, you can ride a TAXI that would cost 150 pesos, so if, there are four of you, you can just split it to around 38 pesos, that's affordable right? Or the cheapest way to go there is by a JEEPNEY fronting Deluxe Hotel in Cogon you can ride a jeepney that has a label “Indahag” on it, just politely ask the driver to stop at the sign up says “Eden’s Solace” you can also see that ride side of the road and this will only cost you P10. After that you’ll have a 5-minute walk from the highway to get to the location. Easy right? Then enjoy the place.

May I ask what does "," means??
for me, a comma means for a "pause". that life doesn't simply end to what have just happened to her...
Cool interpretation @vanj , @shairanada hi there! ^ ^ this is so funny! I was on a haste yesterday posting this I just came back from Church to check and this happened. Sorry about the technical error! I edited it to the article I wrote.
Ohh I was really confused since the url was talking about the high ridge hehehe happy to see that you finally edited it 😊
Thanks, yes, or else i would be explaining about the mysterious and weird "comma" haha :D
I want to ask her that too 😀.
this could be a historic "blooper" article having a "comma" for title and content. Haha Sorry for it, I got my article back. ^ ^
Hello @gaman thank you ^ ^
