As I started this I underestimated the time it was going to take. I was aware that each pixel will have a 20 second limit timer due to how comments work, but I didn't expect the image I was copying to take this long.
I ended up asking my friend @strawhat for help with the coloring in the end and also logged onto an alt account of mine to double the pace. This is how it turned out in the end, my "Mew" mascot image that I use in many places, it can be found here on Steempixels.com.
If you're going to create something of your own, I highly advice you to do it with a couple friends or a few alt accounts at the same time. Have fun!
It is starting to look nicer every day, I spent some time working on cat whiskers yesterday, it was a lot of fun, but as you said very time consuming. I would hate seeing someone overwrite the pixels I didn't buy haha
It will probably happen eventually :D
Did you purchase yours if you don't mind me asking? :)
Nope :D At least I'll have this screenshot to remember it in the long run. :'D
Very true! You did a good job with your pixel art, I'll probably get back to working on mine soon!
Wow dude that’s awesome !! I’m sure it was worth the 4 hours
how much time did it take to complete?
Like 4 hours in total. :P
oh ok i I thought it was even more
Ahaha looks fun I should try using it
I know what its like to spend ages on something painstaking, the comment time limit would have been a killer! clever idea for doing the whole your image thing on steempixels!
Wow! That's kind of intresting thing, can anyone make these things on steempixels.com or I need to have a account there, I joined this platefrom yesterday and I came to know so many new things here, if you like to visit my intro that I posted few hours back, if u got some free time ☺
You can log in with your posting key of your Steem account.
Wow... impressive. Having a flashback to designing software icons, pixel by pixel...
Almost reminds me of Pokemon, Nice work, I couldn't do this in a million years, I have no concept of art .A huge pat on the back @acidyo
someone overwrite mind me asking working on
This is the type of content that keeps people coming back!
Well done here, will follow.
@spinx23
Amazing
j'avoue :)
Didnt know this masterpiece went through a gruesome and amazing work to create, you did a very fantstic thing here. So perfect your creation
Skillfully patient. Pixel by pixel would be time consuming lol idk if I could do it.
Vote comment me
Wait! U mean u draw all these stuff step by step, pixel by pixel . Now that's something insane if u did it like that pixel by pixel
Nyc Post!! I lyk your Post!!
cool nice post!
Thatz attractive.. lets go delightful pixel by fixel. have longer time create with?
It's more of like division of labour. Looks really nice. I'm not good with graphics, but I'm lying on my couch thinking how possible for me to be that creative.
it looks like a cat or something like rabbit ..need another account or we can make this from this steemit account ..? nad that will be beneficial for graphic designing ?
pixel pixel pixel ... :P
This reminds me the experience that was done on reddit where each account could draw 1 pixel every ten (or 5 don't remember) minutes on a very big image : a great video of the full thing was released.
This is such useless but at the same time such fun lol XD
Thats pretty epic, nice work mate :D
Haha ! its seems fun to try it once at least.
I think it should be worth trying it.
I know it will take lots of time
It's a Meincraft character, is not it? :) Nice work, my child said - "Yes, very nice")
Fabulous one!!!
Wow dude that’s awesome,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This is awesome! Well done!
Hmm my data says 450 pixels and not 800. Unless I'm calculating wrong!
450 from my account?
I got some help from @strawhat and used my other account @cryptochannel at the same time to color it up.
ahh that would make sense then!
