How To Get Delegated Steem Power On Steemit

steem power.jpgMy steemit journey is possibly a lot like yours. You may have read some how to steemit guides or tips about steemit and started finding content you liked and up voting it and maybe commenting and following folks. Over a few weeks or months you have some followers and you see the hot and trending sections.

work-1513180_1280.jpg

You see youtube video after youtube video of people making a ton of money from steemit. You think to yourself, "The reason I'm not doing as well is because they got in early probably." You might see some more recent videos of folks that just got in that are blowing up the stats also. Many of these folks will tell you they had a big following already from other social media and their blended efforts are magically propelling them to the top. Some people will tell you that you just need to write better content. Which this is always a true statement. We should all be trying to write better and better content. There are a ton of guides that can help you out with this for sure. Many will be honest and flat out say, "I invested a lot of money in steem and then converted that into Steem Power and this is how I am able to generate large amounts of money from my post and curations."

Growing from nothing is going to be an absolute grind. Steemit is not a get rich quick scheme. You need to have some or multiple of the above variables if you want to start earning any serious earnings from steemit or just grind it out and grow it slow over time. Which I think most are grinding it out and growing slow and steady over time. What if there were some other ways to help. Some.... almost secret ways that no one will even mention that is giving some a mega advantage.

When I first arrived I noticed some people had a ton of up vote bots pinging there posts. I think this is highly frowned upon by the community as a whole. Using some bots to help yourself get a post going or helping someone else; because you don't have enough $ weight to really benefit anyone with an upvote when you are just starting out but the bots do, and most think that this is acceptable. The bots are helping to level the playing field a little. I have seen several posts that deserved more than the 0.02 cents they got but no one voted them up. The bots can solve the problem that exists here if used correctly. I wrote an article about it here. https://steemit.com/upvote/@binkley/my-favorite-steemit-upvote-bots

How To Get Delegated Steem Power On Steemit

The other thing I noticed was that many people had large amounts of delegated steem power on steemit. Some of the accounts were juiced up a lot. Many of the upvotes were from juiced accounts. Perhaps they were delegating some steem power to a lot of friends to effectively change their upvote weight which keeps their posts on the front page of steemit or at least in the top of their category. This in turns causes a lot of organic up votes because of the emotional response that is contagious in social media. Plus the curation platform is coded to reward you for getting in on something that is booming. None of this is a bad thing at all. Don't think I'm complaining because I'm not. I'm simply trying to figure out how to be a part of the elites. It is where I find myself often in life.

The trick is to get a ton of delegated steem power on steemit.

The answer to the question, "How To Get Delegated Steem Power On Steemit?" Is a million maybe multi million dollar question. I see many businesses sprouting up that appear to be helping and some do not even realize they are in a business but just copying others that are in a business. They are in a well marketed business that is disguised solely as a help aid for beginners. Which again there is nothing wrong with this and I am not complaining at all. I love to see businesses spin off of existing businesses. It is so innovative and you know some of the greatest minds are all in one place....#steemit... I'm confident in the viability of the platform because of all of the innovations and business developments.

I'm seeing several lease models that I'm sure are profitable to some extent. These lease models allow minnows or noobs to lease steem power to be used on the steem it platform for a given amount of time. The only problem is that the person leasing better have a solid game plan together and understand this page (https://steemit.com/steem-help/@biophil/voting-power-the-complete-definitive-and-yes-ultimate-guide-updated-again ) thoroughly before leasing or risk losing their investment. An auto voter is strongly suggest if one is going to lease steem power. How to get delegated steempower on steemit?

Is there a group that gives it out to individuals that are wanting to do good within the community? If so I have not found it. I have asked on every chat service available and looked and searched google from top to bottom and have yet to find how to get delegated steem power on steemit. One article I did find talked about how developers were able to delegate steem power but not average steemians and so they thought it was an unfair advantage but no one is talking about how to get delegated steem power for minnows or new folks at all. I have to disagree that it is an unfair advantage. It is fair these folks worked hard and have the skills to write the code to delegate steem power so they should and earn from it in my opinion.

How Do You And I "The Little Guys" Get Steem Power Delegated To Us?

Here is what I'm thinking. Some people maybe beat the system and others have skills that help them get delegated steem power. So how are you and I going to get delegated steem power? If we are grinding it out can we grind our way into delegated steem power? The answer is yes. If you are writing high quality content, commenting on people posts, and curating with the best of them. At Some Point Maybe find a whale and go ask them if they would delegate some steem power for your causes. Your wallet and posts and comments can be seen by the world. People can see you working hard and if they see it and think it is good and you ask, then you might receive some delegated steem power.

For now this is all I can find about getting delegated steem power.

This might be the only solution we have and if you want delegated steem power bad enough you might end up begging a hundred people to try and It get it. Look and follow people who are witnesses and try to emulate what they are doing. This might help put you in a position to ask for some delegated steem power.

This is fantastic. I actually figured out how to lease steem power after writing this article. You can lease it from @minnowbooster. I also built a tool that allows anyone to delegate steem power to another member fast... https://SteemThat.com

You said what I was trying to say. I LOVE IT HERE TOO! I'm more frustrated with myself for not having solutions to the problems. Thanks for the feedback.

Good post, good work and a lot of effort. These content will get you noticed in the end. Found a little error in the text, you put in a space to much

***If we are grinding it out can we grind our way into delegated steem power? The answer is yes. ***

But hope to see more of this content from you.

Thank for that. I keep missing little things like that and it drives me crazy trying to fix it. Typos are everywhere too from time to time. I used to publish newspapers and loved editing but can't catch my on mistakes lately. Thanks again.

Valuable Info. thanks for posting, following and upvoted.

Thank you very much for reading. Hope it will help you in your endeavors.

Wow.. really great post.. very informative it help me understand more about the platform.. thanks for sharing..

Thank you for reading. I truly hope it helps get the conversation started.

Hey @binkley - This might be along the lines of what you're searching for. @minnowbooster delegates SP at 65 times the amount you give them for 1 week e.g Send 1 Steem and receive 65 SP for one week. And it's cheaper for 4 weeks. Looks good, but can't say I've tried it yet, 'cause I just stumbled upon it in the last day or two, and I've been powering up all my rewards leaving nothing to spare :) Check out their post here. Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing. I found this earlier and went to the discord chat and no one wanted to talk with me about it. Like literally no one. It seems like we have a ton of smart devs and very few customer service oriented folks. this is a system wide issue from the top down as far as I can see. They are running a business but very picky who their customers are or don't have customer service skills. I think the market is demanding user friendly customer service oriented products at steemit.

From buying steem , to buying up votes or delegated steem power there just isn't a user friend store front for this with in the steemit platform. I think this needs to be solved before massive growth of the platform overall can or should happen. I think this is the ultimate problem we need to solve as a community for monster growth.

How can I help. I'm going to start reading the docs and see if I can put any of my skills to use and try to for now write and organize high quality information to help people. And also get people talking about some areas where we need improvement and some possible solutions to those inconveniences.

Everything is actually external or feels external. The minnow support project is on discord which is great but is a whole additional platform to learn the ins and outs. Plus you need streemian and some basic syntax knowledge to even get started. The minnow booster merging with steemvoter might turn out well down the road but again you are leaving the social environment to visit another new platform to facilitate growth. To purchase steem you have to jump through quite a few hoops and again leave the social media platform to do it. Auto Voting is a complete external program and again you have to leave the social media platform. Steemd.com is seperate and you have to leave the social media platform. Asking new people to do a lot of external tasks will cause alot of distraction and loss of use of the social media platform. Increasing time spent on steemit should be our design goals.
There has to be some old whales out there that just auto curate and draw some SBD from that and wouldn't mind donating some delegated steem power to some newer folks. How do we find them. How do we encourage them to participate in a community effort. Do we start an eternal group and charge membership fee & then allow them to join and participate in a steem power pool? Maybe we could pay the whales to delegate some to one individual or bot and then have the bot delegate to registered users? There has to be a simple stream lined way to make this happen. The one that figures it out will become a whale for sure.

Here is a review so people can do their own research. https://steemit.com/steemit/@daynewright/my-experience-with-minnowbooster-delegation

I agree that there needs to be an easier way to put it all together, to facilitate the experience for new steemians, with zero knowledge of the cryptoverse, and sometimes very rudimentary knowledge of anything 'computer related.'

It's a shame that friends, and friends of friends, with incredible talent in many fields, especially artistic, music, and literary, have shirked from my invites 'cause it all seems 'too much to handle.' I'm no wiz myself, and kinda enjoy the process of learning the ropes, but maybe that's because I've a little time on my hands at the moment.

Saying that, I'm lovin' it here, and do trust that steemit will change enough to accommodate even the most tech fearful netizens.

IMO - as a community, which in some ways is exclusive, it needs to evolve to include people like my mum, who couldn't work out how to set a record time on a VHS back when, but is living it up over on Facebook.

So Delegated Steem Power is the number in ( ) under Steem Power section in Wallet?

And the only way of increasing that is to ask others to delegate their steem power to you?

Doesn't Steemit auto assign this level?

As you write posts you earn some Steem Power. Also if you buy Steem and power it up you get Steem Power. The more Steem Poweryou have the better your own personal upvote is worth. The higher this upvote is worth the better. Like society people tend to group up based on wealth. The more SP you get the more curation rewards you get the faster you grow.!

I figured out a way to lease it using @minnowbooster. Also I built a neat delegation tool that allows anyone to delegate to anyone https://SteemThat.com

Great Post @binkley Let me try out some of the above techniques. hopefully some whale might help out brother here. Would like to reach more posts like this.

Thanks @steemking777 . I'll just keep getting better over time and eventually churn out some trending I hope.
