I think you made the right decision. After all, engagement is the key to success here on SteemIt. You never get anywhere if you fly solo. I think it's better to engage a lot than to publish posts because you feel you have to, even though you have no inspiration.

Thanks again for keeping this going. I noticed more and more people are starting to take initiative, so maybe this place will have a future after all 😉

Absolutely!

Most new users waste their RC publishing posts (which don't get noticed) rather than engaging and building their fanbase or network.

Agreed. Although I think a user should at least have 1 active post - that means 1 post a week. Those people you meet need to have an active post to visit 😉
